Interesting HTS Summer Course on the Environment

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. HTS 3005: American Environmental History
Early Short Summer 2017

In American Environmental History we will explore change over time in human-environment relationships in the United States. We will investigate the role of science and technology, politics, economics, and competing interest groups in environmental change, with greatest emphasis on the 19th and 20th centuries.
