About GRIOT
African Heritage: GRIOT - Facilitates visible commitment to the inclusion and valuing of employees who self-identify as Black, African, African-American, or West Indian; and provides a networking and professional development forum for employees who hold African heritage or identify with African culture.
About Employee Resource Groups:
Institute Diversity’s Staff Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement (SDIE) unit offers six ERGs to support Georgia Tech’s efforts to build community and ensure that employees experience a greater sense of belonging. These voluntary employee associations, organized around common dimensions of diversity, have been designed to offer forums where like-minded employees can enhance their employment experience.
