There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia Tech undergraduate students Gautam Goel (discrete math), Dustin Morado (applied math), Peter Woolfitt (applied math) won first place in the undergraduate team problem solving competition at the second Eagle Undergraduate Mathematics Conference (EUMC 2012). The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Georgia Southern University (Statesboro) hosted this one-day conference on Saturday, March 31, 2012. The students received a trophy which is on display in the School of Mathematics.
