Are you interested in storytelling, editing, and preserving historical stories of our elders?

If you are interested in publishing, there is a unique internship opportunity this summer. You CAN earn college credit for this in LMC 4904 (LMC Elective/Free Elective). It may be possible depending faculty involvement — for earning some communication credit if needed (TBD).

We have a 90+ year old woman named Betty Golden who is writing her life in a sequence of stories. She has most of the writing done but needs help organizing, editing, and such. She intends to publish it.

She is making her way to the CoLab in Skiles 340 at 1pm today (April 4th), if anyone is immediately interested and wants to meet her. Otherwise, CoLab Director Jillann Hertel is information gathering and discussing her project with her today.

Please stop in or email jillann.hertel@lmc.gatech.edu within the next week or so if you are interested in this assignment. It will be flexible and mostly remote with some meetings in the CoLab.

This is a good opportunite for anyone interested in becoming an editor, historian, writer, or biographer!
