There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Alumnus Brian Benson (B.S. Applied Mathematics 2008) earned first place for his summer research project work in the Research Experiences for Graduate Students (REGS) program at the University of Illinois. He was featured in an article in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Department of Mathematics, Fall/Winter 2011 news magazine. A picture appeared on page 8 along with the complete article.
