There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Yu Tao was invited by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine to give a talk on NSF data at a workshop on Oct. 20, 2016. This workshop, organized by the National Academies, was charged by the National Science Foundation to evaluate its approaches of measuring the science and engineering workforce. Dr. Tao was one of the few early-career researchers invited to speak there, and the talk was very well received and could help key NSF surveys continue to improve their relevance and usefulness for policy and research.
In addition, she was recently granted tenure at Stevens Institute of Technology and promoted to Associate Professor. Congrats!
