Lux Poetry on "25 Books All Georgians Should Read'

Featured among the list of "25 Books All Georgians Should Read," released in May by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, is "New and Selected Poems of Thomas Lux, 1975-1995," by Thomas Lux.

Lux is Professor, Margaret and Henry T. Bourne Chair in Poetry, and H. Bruce McEver Visiting Chair in Writing in the School of Literature, Communication, and Culture. A nationally acclaimed poet, Lux was awarded the Kingsley Tufts poetry award for his collection, "Split Horizon."

Through the Poetry at Tech program, Lux has brought the finest names in poetry to campus attracting more than 7,000 attendees from across the southeast during the past five years.
