The Atlanta Science Festival is an annual celebration of local science and technology. Scientists and educators from museums, schools, universities, and companies will uncover mysteries and explain discoveries through a variety of hands-on activities, presentations, and performances.
Founded in part by Georgia Tech, the festival features Tech in a number of ways including a demonstration at the Marcus Nanotechnology Building on March 18, a comedic performance by chemical engineering professor, Pete Ludovice, on March 18, and an evening of arts at the Ferst Center on March 24.
Now in its fourth decade, the Atlanta Film Festival is Atlanta’s preeminent celebration of cinema. Throughout the week, audiences are invited to view hundreds of new independent, international, animated, documentary, and short-films. Many of the screenings include in-person dialog with filmmakers.
