Congratulations to General Philip Breedlove, USAF (Retired) and Admiral James “Sandy” Winnefeld, USN (Retired) on their recognition by the Georgia House of Representatives.
The House adoped a State House Resolution on March 14, 2017 recognizing the two former military leaders for their service to our nation and for returning to their alma mater, Georgia Tech as distinguished professors in the Ivan Allen College Sam Nunn School of International Affairs.
Prevous to joining the Nunn School in 2015, Winnefeld was vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the nation’s second-highest ranking military officer. Breedlove, who joined the Nunn School in 2016, served as NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe and the U.S. European Command Commander.
