There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

"Science not Silence" is the motto for March for Science. March for Science Atlanta’s team is working hard to make April 22 a day to remember. This march is to call for attention to the importance of science and it is definitely not only for academicians or research scientists but to all science aficionados. The march is to convince policymakers to base their decisions on evidence-based research and it is nonpartisan and nonpolitical.
Our Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/marchforscienceatlanta/
We welcome anyone who supports these goals, which have been endorsed by roughly 80 professional science and engineering societies, including AAAS, AAUP, AGU, Sigma Xi, UCS, 500 Women Scientists, Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science, etc. Please contact outreach@marchforscienceatlanta.org for more.
