No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Fall 2017 Housing Application for new and returning students is now open at My Housing. If your returning student missed the March 5 deadline for guaranteed housing, the online application is still available. Returning students that applied before by March 5 will receive an email with a date and time to select their room for Fall 2017. Encourage your student to watch his/her GT email and take advantage of the opportunity to self-assign for next year. Details for sign-up and self-assignment were placed in P.O. Boxes and are posted on our website in the Announcements column.
March is here, and it is time to begin thinking about the end of the semester. Students that plan to move out of a residence hall or switch rooms at the end of the spring semester should check the dates on the Housing Calendar before making travel plans.
The Georgia Tech Department of Housing strives to provide a safe environment that meets students’ needs and interests and supports their academic success. Don’t let your student miss out on the convenience, comfort, and experience of on-campus living next year! Also, watch for the Summer 2017 campus housing sign-up which begins online March 22.
