There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Come join ISA and the Office of Diversity for the Persian New Year (Nowruz) Kickoff Event on Monday, March 13th from 6 to 8pm in Klaus Atrium!
There will be various activities such as egg decorating and growing your own sabzeh, along with authentic Persian food catered by Rumi’s Kitchen and music!
We encourage students of all races and ethnicities to join us to learn about the Persian New Year. The purpose of the event is to spread cultural awareness of the Iranian traditions and to welcome these traditions onto Georgia Tech’s campus.
There will be a short presentation at the beginning of the event to explain the New Year, and food will be limited, so come early!
In addition to this kickoff event, we will be displaying a Haftseen in the Student Center (location to be announced) for two weeks. So be sure to stop by!
