This event will be held on Thursday, April 13th from 5 - 7:30 PM in the Old Civil Engineering Building, room G10 (note updated location).

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Clarissa Threat from Spelman College. Dr. Threat is the author of Nursing Civil Rights: Gender and Race in the Army Nurse Corps (University of Illinois Press, 2015). Her talk is titled, "Intergroup Relations: Nursing and Civil Rights in Mid-20th Century America." After her talk, there will be a banquet dinner to celebrate the award winners.
