The Office of Health & Well-Being is interviewing candidates for the new position of senior director of health initiatives, and is looking for input from the Georgia Tech community.

Join Health & Well-Being staff for an open presentation from the two candidates covering the topic of an upstream approach to Smart and Happy. The candidates will focus on how to promote, nurture and enrich a community of health, well-being and caring within the Georgia Tech Community. Each presentation will culminate with a survey, so you can provide the hiring committee staff with your input on the candidates.

The senior director of health initiatives will provide creative leadership for the recently expanded department of Health Initiatives. This position will oversee the Director of Health Promotion and the newly created director of health behavior, their staff, as well as collaborate with other Georgia Tech stakeholders within Health & Well-Being, Psychology Services, Campus Services, Student Life, Counseling Center, Human Resources, and more. The senior director of health initiatives will strategically streamline programs, services, resources, messaging, and initiatives to provide a strong cohesive community and culture of health and well-being on campus.

The Office of Health & Well-Being is comprised of Health Initiatives, the Campus Recreation Complex, and Stamps Health Services.
