Get set for a great evening of art on campus with the opening of the 2017 Clough Art Crawl on Thursday, February 23 from 4-7 pm. Artwork by Georgia Tech students will be on exhibit, along with performances of all kinds.
Three hundred Georgia Tech students will participate as visual or performing artists this year. For some, it's a chance to share their artistry with campus, while others hope to win one of seven cash awards, including a People's Choice Award. The performances and live readings will begin at 5 pm. The entire event is free and open to the public, and is held in the Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons.
The Art Crawl is juried by professional artists working in the metro Atlanta area who select the top work in each category. Those attending also vote on their favorite works, and will receive a free item from the food trucks on hand for the event: Nectar and Mac the Cheese.
All visual art will remain on display throughout four floors of Clough Commons until March 13, 2017.
This event is sponsored by the Office of the Arts, the Georgia Tech Library, and the Office of the Provost.
