Dr. Kathy Allan officially put down her Georgia Tech stethoscope for the last time and retired after 15 years of service with Stamps Health Services. To commemorate this occasion the Stamps staff celebrated with an early morning barre class in tutu’s followed by breakfast consisting of a few of Dr. Allan’s favorites.
Dr. Allan’s career began in a private practice followed by Emory primary care and finally Stamps Health Services. She reflects fondly on her career and has found that even the smallest things we do for others can make a huge impact. She said, “Georgia Tech students in particular are a delightful group and I (felt) very privileged to have been one of their providers.”
Dr. Allan is most looking forward to pursuing her numerous outside interests and the idea of having a “loose” schedule to do these in. Thank you Dr. Allan for your years of service. You were a tremendous asset and will be greatly missed!
