Starring two young actresses (Elodie Bouchez and Natacha
Régnier), both winners of the Best Actress Award at the 1998
Cannes Film Festival, this deeply touching film is about the
friendship and separate fates of two struggling young women
in Lille, an industrial city in Northern France.
This film is Erick Zonca’s first feature but undoubtedly demonstrates his ability to communicate human emotion with a bare yet powerful style.
