There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This collection explores the histories of fifteen key commodities that changed the world through a wide range of manuscript sources, rare books, maps, advertising memorabilia, paintings, photographs and ephemera.

To access the collection go to www.globalcommodities.amdigital.co.uk. You can also gain access via the ‘trial access login’ link, which is located on the homepage and throughout our website at www.amdigital.co.uk. (Please ensure that you select the ‘Access Via IP’ option). Both options require you be on a campus IP, or accessing on VPN.

The resource will be available to you at the following URL for the next four weeks (ending 2nd March 2017).

*Please note that PDF download options are not available during trials.

 Once you have explored this collection please provide feedback, particularly details on the value of this collection for research and teaching. There are not funds available at this time to purchase this resource but if there is interest it will be a priority when funds are available.
