LMC Professors Lisa Yaszek and Kathleen Ann Goonan recently appeared on The Coode Street Podcast, an informal weekly discussion about science fiction and fantasy featuring award-winning critics and editors Jonathan Strahan and Gary K. Wolfe.
Yaszek, a professor of science fiction studies and past president of the Science Fiction Research Association, talked about her new book, Sisters of Tomorrow: The First Women of Science Fiction and the significance of recovering women's work in science fiction.
Goonan, an award-winning science fiction author in her own right, spoke about the conclusion she wrote for Sisters of Tomorrow as well as her own experience as a female author of speculative fiction.
