There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Free opportunity to perform or hang out and watch music and other art. Sign-ups begin at 7:30 PM, show begins at 8:00 PM.
Anybody can sign up, sets are up to about two songs or ten minutes. Most performers do music, but poetry, stand-up, and other performance styles are welcome.
House keyboard, drum set, bass and guitar, as well as PA for backing tracks, are available. Show will typically end with an open jam session.
Open Mic Night is every Thursday that classes are in session at Georgia Tech, unless the space is being used for a different event. In Spring 2017, open mics are planned for:
