Leah Wright Rigueur is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the author of The Loneliness of the Black Republican: Pragmatic Politics and the Pursuit of Power (Princeton University Press, 2015).
Megan Ming Francis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Washington, Seattle and the author of the award winning book, Civil Rights and the Making of the Modern American State (Cambridge University Press, 2014).
