The Alpha Zeta Lambda chapter of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society invites undergraduate and graduate students to submit abstracts on any historical topic for papers to be presented at the Annual Georgia Regional Conference held at Mercer University in Macon, GA on April 1, 2017. The conference is open to all students of history. Phi Alpha Theta membership is not a requirement to present.

To apply, students should submit 150-word abstracts to their project advisor and/or Phi Alpha Theta advisor for preliminary approval. Submissions of abstracts due by Sunday, February 12, 2017 to Dr. Gerona (GT PAT Advisor).

Final papers should be 8 - 10 pages and students will make a 20 minute presentation at the conference.  In order to be considered for prizes, you must be a member of Phi Alpha Theta. You do not need to be a member to submit your work.
