There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Black Feminist Think Tank, led by Dr. Sherie Randolph in the School of History and Sociology at Georgia Tech, is hosting a four part colloquium on race and gender in the United States. The fourth and final event features Dr. Alondra Nelson (Columbia University) and Dr. Ruha Benjamin (Princeton University), who will be speaking on "Race, Reparations and Reconciliation after the Genome."
The talk will be from 3:00 - 5:00 PM on Tuesday, April 4th in the Clary Theatre in the Student Success Center on Georgia Tech's campus. All are invited to attend this event.
This event is co-sponsored by the Working Group on Race and Racism in Contemporary Biomedicine.
