If your college journey didn’t start at Georgia Tech, then the Office of Undergraduate Admission wants you for its Transfer Recruitment Team (TRT).

The TRT is a volunteer student group made up of current Georgia Tech transfer students who work closely with the Office of Undergraduate Admission. TRT members participate in information sessions for prospective transfer students by speaking and sharing their experiences. They also participate in fundraising events on campus and attend biweekly meetings. TRT members organize events, recruit new members, reach out to prospective transfer students, review current transfer practices, and recommend improvements on how transfer students can be served better on campus.

Those interested can learn more at an information session on Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Clary Theatre, Bill Moore Student Success Center.

Applications are due Friday, Jan. 20, at 11:59 p.m. To apply, complete the application (pdf) and submit it by email to trt@admission.gatech.edu with the subject line “TRT New Member Application 2017.”

New members should plan to attend a required training on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Bill Moore Student Success Center. TRT’s biweekly meetings take place Tuesdays from 7 to 8 p.m.
