We encourage you and your student to explore our programs, as there is something for everyone!

Global Internship Program is seeking international internship hosts!
The Global Internship Program facilitates overseas internships for students. Through these internships, students gain valuable and practical work experience in the global economy while learning how to operate in new and diverse settings. In the 2015-16 academic year, 150 students interned in 39 countries with companies such as BMW, Siemens Healthcare, Schlumberger, Microsoft, Airbus, Deloitte, Texas Instruments, and many more. We are always looking to expand our portfolio of global internship host employers. If you work for a multinational/international company, please consider asking your employer if they may be interested in establishing an international internship program with. Our staff will guide companies through the process, advertise internship opportunities to our students, and conduct a basic screening of candidates. Global internship employers should be able to host a student intern for a minimum number of weeks (10 in the summer, 14 in the fall/spring), offer meaningful and professionally oriented work, and assign a supervisor who will provide mentorship and feedback. Most competitive global internships provide a stipend equivalent to the local cost of living. For more information, see the Employer section of our website: https://oie.gatech.edu/content/gip. Interested parties may contact Jennifer Evanuik Baird, director, Global Internship Program, at Jennifer.baird@oie.gatech.edu or 1-404-894-7475.

Last year, 54 percent of Georgia Tech undergraduate students graduated with an international experience. Study abroad is open to all undergraduate students with the opportunity to study abroad for fall, spring, summer, or for the full academic year. There is a plethora of opportunities for your student to learn more about the variety of options open to them and also learn how to fund those opportunities. Upcoming sessions are listed at https://www.oie.gatech.edu/news-events.
