With the academic job search cycle in full swing, colleges and universities will soon be extending invitations for campus visits. At this workshop, you will investigate the academic job interview process, from the phone interview through the job talk. Understanding the fundamentals for preparing an oral presentation will help in alleviating some of the anxiety you may encounter at your next job interview or conference presentation. You will have time to practice these essential presentation skills and receive feedback from peers and facilitators. Bring your current CV and a sample job description to which you have applied.
