Georgia Tech hosted children from Horizons Atlanta for a special holiday party. The non-profit identifies and partners with under-served children, to help them keep pace all the way through school.
The commitment is long term. Children work with Horizons for at least six summers starting in kindergarten. Most children wind up with Horizons for nine summers.
The results are stellar high school graduation rates and children going on to college.
Horizons Atlanta is trying to expand its program so that they can help 3,000 children be successful in school.
