Emily Gibson will defend her thesis for the Ph.D. in the History and Sociology of Technology and Science on Thursday, December 15th at 10AM.  The title of her thesis is "Flying the Flag: Gender and the Projection of National Progress through Global Air Travel, 1920 - 1960."
