Please join us for a special public forum hosted by the School of Literature, Media and Communication to discuss the media of politics and the politics of media in the wake of the U.S. presidential election. This gathering will be held during the regularly scheduled Digital Media talks, 3:00-4:00pm on Tuesday, November 15th in the TSRB auditorium. A panel of faculty speakers will open the session by discussing media effects and media futures that can help us make sense of unfolding changes in American politics. Topics of discussion will include Big Data, twitter campaigns, political art, filter bubbles, email hacking, and freedom of press. Afterwards, the floor will be open for a moderated discussion.
