There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The Office of International Education is reaching out to all freshmen! Through a recent survey of GT undergraduate students, we found that 84% of first-year students say they are very likely to study abroad while at Georgia Tech. We want to help make that a reality, and the key is early planning. To help freshmen get a jump start on exploring GT's international programs, we are launching a special Freshman Cohort Initiative. First-year students are encouraged to make an online account at https://gatech.via-trm.com/traveler/users/sign_up to review international program options, sign up for study abroad related events, and receive virtual advising from OIE advisors. We'll help you figure out which programs will work best for your major, finances, timeline, and goals, and address any concerns you might have about going abroad. We look forward to working with all of you, first-years!
