Full Summary: Ceremony to retire old and worn American flags and honor veterans who have served our nation.

Our flag is representative of our independence and our unity as a nation.....one nation, under God, indivisible. Our flag has a proud and glorious history. It was at the lead of every battle fought by Americans. Many people have died protecting it. No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United State of America; The Flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning. This ceremony will properly retire worn American flags and in the process honor veterans who have served our great nation. Hosted by Eagles at Georgia Tech.
