Fundamental technology transitions, including cloud computing, mobility, and the Internet of everything present unprecedented demand and opportunity for those in our Industry. This seminar will explore how software developers at companies such as Cisco are evolving to meet the accelerated demands for the creation and delivery of the solutions of tomorrow.
Speaker Bio:
A 1992 graduate from Georgia Tech’s college of Electrical Engineering Karl went on to receive a Masters in Software Engineering from Mercer University while working in sales and marketing. An entrepreneurial venture in 2005 led to joining Cisco Systems in 2009 where he focused on software development of UI and content delivery systems for Service Providers. Recently, he has joined Cisco’s Product Management team and is involved in the creation of the next generation of cloud-based video services.
