Georgia Tech's Strategic Energy Internship is a semester-long program that funds Georgia Tech students to engage with energy-related policy development at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. The opportunity includes a $7,500 stipend to offset expenses (housing, transportation, and living expenses). This program is open to both undergraduate (sophomore and above) and graduate students of all majors.

Anyone with an interest in energy supply, technology, economics, security or policy is encouraged to apply. Benefits to the student include:

  • an enriched education with hands-on experience
  • the opportunity to build a professional network
  • acquiring skills that will distinguish students when seeking jobs in industry, governmental, or nonprofit sectors
