Tribute to Thomas Lux & Reception

Please join us as we celebrate the life and work of Thomas Lux on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at 4 p.m.

Thomas Lux was the Margaret T. and Henry C. Bourne, Jr. Chair in Poetry in the Ivan Allen College School of Literature, Media, and Communication, and the director of Poetry@Tech, a leading showcase for poetry for the Southeast. He published 19 books of poetry, and his work appeared in more than 55 anthologies. 

Lux, a faculty member at Georgia Tech since 2001, died on February 5, 2017, after a lengthy illness. He was 70.

A memorial for Lux will take place from 4 - 6 p.m. in the Klaus Auditorium, and it will be preceded by a reception from 2:30 - 3:45 p.m. in the atrium area.
