Five postdoctoral researchers from the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts participated in Georgia Tech’s 2016 Postdoctoral Research Symposium on September 22, 2016.

The award for Best Poster Presenter from the Ivan Allen College went to Yehyun (Hannah) An, who co-authored “The Factors that Affect the Environmental Review and Project Design in Transportation Projects” with School of Public Policy Associate Professors Gordon Kingsley and Daniel Matisoff, as well as doctoral student Evan Mistur.

The Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts presenters and their project titles are below:

Yehyun (Hannah) An (Public Policy)— “The Factors that Affect the Environmental Review and Project Design in Transportation Projects”

KellyAnn Fitzpatrick (LMC Brittain Fellow) — “Dungeons, Towers, and Taverns: Connective Medievalisms in Developer and Academic Culture”

Bethany Jacobs (LMC Brittain Fellow) — “Playing with Authenticity in the Afrofuturist Albums of Janelle Monáe”

Sarah Lozier (LMC Brittain Fellow) — “From Float to Flicker: The Informatics of Colorblind Race In Glenn Ligon's ‘I Am a Man’ Image Series”

Sarah O’Brien (LMC Brittain Fellow) — “‘Not Even a Dog’: The Limits of Canine Metaphoricity and Manipulability in Fehér isten/White God”
