Georgia Tech’s East Asia Program draws upon faculty expertise in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts and across campus, while reaching out to students from every college and major. It offers students the opportunity for focused study through an East Asian Studies Minor, the full range of instruction in each of the region’s major languages, innovative faculty-led study abroad programs, and an array of regional studies courses. In addition, the Program sponsors colloquia, workshops, conferences, public lectures, film series, book signings, cultural events, and other programs that promote understanding of the cultures and fascinating realities of China, Japan, and Korea. Georgia Tech’s East Asia Program aims to be a valuable resource for the campus community, City of Atlanta and State of Georgia, and the Southeastern Region.
