Seymour Goodman, professor in the Ivan Allen College Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, participated in the 2016 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Intelligence and Security Informatics (ISI) conference, which took place in Tucson, Arizona from September 28 - 30, 2016.
In keeping with the conference’s theme of “cybersecurity and big data,” Goodman gave a presentation entitled “Critical Infrastructures and The Well-Being.” In addition, he served as a moderator on the “Cybersecurity Education” Panel.
The ISI conference showcases interdisciplinary research involving academic researchers in information technologies, computer science, public policy, bioinformatics, medical informatics, and social and behavior studies; local, state, and federal law enforcement and intelligence experts; and information technology industry consultants and practitioners.
