Full Summary: No summary paragraph submitted.

The Office of Government and Community Relations (GCR) is Georgia Tech’s primary connection to federal, state, and local governments and communities. GCR works to ensure Georgia Tech’s strategic priorities receive recognition and support from local, state, and federal government partners. Through active advocacy and relationship-building, GCR is centered on enhancing the image of Georgia Tech and building support for its causes. Through campus visits, district visits, and briefings at the State Capitol and on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., GCR shares knowledge and support, and showcases Georgia Tech’s tradition of excellence.

During this presentation, GCR's Vice President Dene Sheheane, Federal Relations Director Robert Knotts, Community Relations Director Chris Burke, and Legislative Advocacy Manager Casey Aultman will provide an overview of the Office's three main departments and who they serve, as well as information about the Office’s role with the University System of Georgia Board of Regents.
