With spring registration approaching at the end of October, the Design and Social Media Studio is hosting open houses on October 14th and 20th to discuss two new exciting course options in spring of 2017.

The two courses are Critical Theory, Social Justice, and Philosophy of Design combined with a Project Studio: Sweet Auburn, Birth Place of Ideas bringing together a balance of students at multiple levels (PhD, MS, and Undergraduate levels) and from multiple disciplines. Students who are interested in social justice, design, and urban development are encouraged to take the class.  Instructors can work with program advisors to find ways to meet credit requirements for different colleges. No background in design is needed.

More information on the course offerings is at http://dilac.iac.gatech.edu/node/30.

The Design and Social Interaction Studio website is at http://designstudio.gatech.edu.

Students may contact nassim@gatech.edu or alyssa.rumsey@innovate.gatech.edu with any questions.
