Chengdong Yi's research focuses on Real Estate and Urban Studies, the housing market and policy and urban spatial structure in China. He participated in several grants supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Foundation of China, the Census Office of State Council and Beijing Municipal Government, and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. He has published over fifty papers in the Journal of Housing Studies, the International Journal of Housing Policies, Economic Geography (Chinese), Urban Studies (Chinese), China’s Real Estate Research (Chinese), and more.
