Seminar Title: Full Steam Ahead: Engineering Your Future

Abstract:
This brief seminar will quickly guide the audience through one man's journey from student loans to a technical management position in one of the world's premier electrical and computer engineering companies.  Stops along the way will include thoughts about graduating in a down economy, what companies value in an engineer as an employee, the importance of relationships, and an overview of the role of Applications Engineers in the world of high-tech companies.

Speaker Bio:
Keefe is the Keysight EEsof EDA Applications Engineering District Manager for the Eastern half of North America.  He has worked for Keysight Technologies (formerly Agilent Technologies) for over 15 years, has worked in the RF/microwave community for more than 20 years, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Keefe resides in the suburbs of Atlanta with his wife and three children and is proud of his continued engagements and partnerships with Georgia Tech, including his role on our ECE Advisory Board.
