The field of composite materials is an inherently interdisciplinary, rich research space with opportunities to produce materials with unique processing-structure-property relationships. The goal of this workshop is to bring together a diverse group of faculty to discuss Georgia Tech's key strengths in the area of composite materials in terms of research and education. With these strengths identified, we will brainstorm research and education initiatives to poise Georgia Tech as a world leader in this area and establish collaborative relationships to accelerate materials development.
Representatives from three IRIs (IMat, GTMI and RBI) that are related to composites, will present/discuss the available resources including facilities, seed funding opportunities, PhD fellowships, e.t.c.
Based on limited seating, we request you RSVP in order to attend. Please register here.
