There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia Tech officials announced October 5 that Georgia Tech-Savannah would be closed the following two days because of the approaching Hurricane Matthew.
The storm is currently a category three and is expected to still be a significant storm when it reaches the Savannah area. Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal issued a state of emergency for 13 counties in South Georgia in advance of the storm.
