Dr. Monica Miller, third year Brittain Fellow and Assistant Director of the Writing and Communication Program, gave a talk titled, "Maker Culture in the First Year, Multimodal Composition Classroom. First year Brittain Fellow Kelly Fitzpatrick presented during the poster session on "Dungeons, Towers, and Taverns: Connective Medievalisms in Developer and Academic Culture," and first year Brittain Fellow Sarah Lozier also presented during the poster session on "From Float to Flicker: The Informatics of Colorblind Race in Glenn Ligon's 'I Am a Man' Image Series."
