There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The City of Atlanta has launched a new smart city initiative (SMART ATL), which will provide new data-driven services to residents, commuters, and business owners. As part of this initiative, the Georgia Institute of Technology is hosting a series of workshops to gather input and feedback from the community.
Please join us on October 14th from 2-4:30pm for an afternoon workshop in which we will discuss plans for new "smart" services in the neighborhood surrounding Ponce City Market. This workshop is an opportunity participate in the conversation and contribute to the design of new city services. These discussions around the design of city services will also impact how we design our city, which affects our public spaces and built environment. No prior knowledge or experience required—all are welcome!
If you are unable to attend but are interested in participating, we will be hosting more workshops to provide additional opportunities for community input and feedback.
