There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Class registration for spring 2017 will be here before you know it.  Students are highly encouraged to come in for academic advising before registering for classes.  Note that it is mandatory for first year students.  If you are planning on graduating in the spring, summer, or fall of 2017 it is also particularly important that you come in for advising, and it is required at the time you complete your online application for graduation (all the info is on the "Apply to Graduate" tab: http://www.hsoc.gatech.edu/undergraduate/current).

Here are the important dates to know regarding registration:

  • October 6, 11AM, room 104- Spring classes preview party (see a preview of the classes being offered in the spring, book raffle, food, etc.)
  • October 20- Schedule of classes goes online
  • October 28, 6PM- Time tickets available to students (tell you the exact date/time you can begin registering)
  • October 31 - November 18- Phase I of spring 2017 registration

To meet with me about registration, schedule an advising appointment with Dr. D'Unger at gatech.gradesfirst.com for sometime between OCTOBER 21 - 28.  Meet with her AFTER you've been able to look at the spring course offerings, but BEFORE registration starts.  Bring a list of the classes that you'd like to take based on what you have remaining on your degree checklist.
