There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. An effort out of Georgia Tech called NeuroCube sheds a bit more light on what is possible on top of the existing logic layer in a Hybrid Memory Cube. ECE Professor Saibal Mukhopadhyay is one of NeuroCube's lead architects, and he and his Ph.D. students Duckwhan Kim and Jaeha Kung and his colleagues ECE Regents' Professor Sudhakar Yalamanchili and Sek Chai of SRI International have also published a paper in the International Symposium on Computer Architecture.
