Summaries

Summary Sentence: Part of the Library’s “Vampire Sessions” of late night classes and workshops

Full Summary: Adobe Photoshop is a graphics/image editing program included in the Adobe Creative Suite. The software is often used by graphic artists, print designers, visual communicators, and regular people like you.  But this is a late-night course for Vampires only, and will focus solely on Photoshop as a companion for the digital photographer.

Adobe Photoshop is a graphics/image editing program included in the Adobe Creative Suite. The software is often used by graphic artists, print designers, visual communicators, and regular people like you.  But this is a late-night course for Vampires only, and will focus solely on Photoshop as a companion for the digital photographer.

Attendees will receive guidance on using its powerful tools to create better digital images, beginning with basic photo finishing skills such as proper cropping, rotating, and sizing of images.  But we’ll also touch on more powerful tools within the software that will address correcting exposure, adjusting color and color casts, as well as working with Adobe's powerful layer and selection tools.

You’ll even learn some proper techniques for retouching like a pro, including “cloning” away undesirable artifacts in your images – like fang punctures on necks.
