Boston Teacher Residency (BTR) is a one year, full-time AmeriCorps service program that recruits talented college graduates, career changers, and community members and gives them the tools they need to make an immediate impact in the classrooms of the Boston Public Schools (BPS). BTR combines a year-long classroom apprenticeship in a BPE Teaching Academy with targeted master's-level coursework, providing every Teacher Resident with the practical learning, hands-on experience, and ongoing support essential to any successful career in teaching.

Priority application deadline is November 9th for the 2017-18 program.

To apply, visit their website and submit a Prospect Form to access the online application.
