Intellectual property is not just about patents. Intellectual property (IP) rights protect ideas, inventions, discoveries, symbols, images, expressive works, and other valuable products of the human mind that have an intangible existence. IP law generally covers copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents. You do not have to be an engineer to have a career in IP. Only certain sectors of IP require a technical background.

The Georgia Tech Intellectual Property Student Organization (IPSO) is about to begin its 2017 mentorship program. All majors are invited to participate. The goal of the program is to connect you with members of the Atlanta and GT alumni IP community with whom you can seek mentorship and who can help you learn more about possible career options within IP.

If you would like to participate:

1. Contact Tannyr Pasvantis (tannyrp@gatech.edu) or Tyler Wolf (tdwolf69@gmail.com) before you submit the below Google Form. You have to fill out the form before you can participate in the program.
